Spreading God's Word, One T-Shirt at a Time!

The concept of CR7TM began as divine revelation from the Word of God while heavily involved in some Bible study. Knowing that the Bible was translated many times from its original languages, I happened upon a Strong’s Complete Dictionary of Bible Words seeking a definition. While searching I was intrigued by the translations of and definitions of many of the words that are in the current day bible. During this process, I was led to find Christ (the Word) – no pun intended – and it was there that this all began. Cristός Christǒs, khris-tos; anointed, i.e. the Messiah, an epithet of Jesus: - Christ.

The intent of the designs (as my Pastor, Dr. Rev. William R. Lott Sr. of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Chicago, IL preached on "T-shirt Religion") is to start conversation about Christ and Christianity. It is through this manner that we would draw people to Christ by sparking a conversation from what’s seen on the outside, yet projecting what’s within. One of the purposes of Chi Rho7 is to cultivate the spiritual development of its wearers and readers (as we ought to not just be wearers of the Word, but doers as well.) We want people to talk to the wearer about the shirts and in turn about Christ. One of the core beliefs of Chi Rho7 is service to one’s fellow man as Chi Rho7 recognizes a biblically based "common faith" among all people. This will prove to be an effective ministry that will be of great value to the church as a whole and to those who work within, throughout and around it.
